On fashion: I think the polyester skirt will be just the thing to secure a place with the cool kids. Personally, I went with all black...I have nothing like a blue polyester skirt so decided to not even try to fit in.

On egg nog: Having worked at Costco where they put out Christmas stuff in august, Oct doesn't seem too early for egg nog, I guess it's relative. I really like the stuff so figure 3 good months of it seems fine, but don't give it to me in January...that's like where white after labor day.

On homework: you're on your own babe.

New food note: I've been jonesn' (sp?) for an oyster po' boy ever since our La Louisiana visit. I just can't get those fried mollusks on a bun out of my mind. Maybe something at the Luau tonight will help me forget.

Welcome to our new blog where we we eat and tell. This is a place where we can post our opinions about the places we've eaten. We can also use it to post other food related stuff...events, other great restaurant suggestions, recipes, rants and raves, etc.

I can add any of the dinner club members who want to post to the editors list, just email me at pamgree@hotmail.com that you want to blog on the dinner club dish. Once you're added you'll get a link to come to the easy-to-use site where you just type in you posting and publish...it's very easy!

To start the discussion, here are the places we've eaten in the last year--yes, Dinner Club is a year old in November. Do you have a favorite? A memory that stands out? Go on, blog about it.

Kingfish Cafe, Mike's Chili Parlor, Saito's Japnese Cafe and Bar, Thaiku, Barking Frog, El Camino's, La Louisana, 3 Pig Barbeque, FareStart, Brown Bag Cafe, Mama Melina

Next dinner club is Wednesday, October 29...we'll know where we're eating Tuesday!
